Description

This potsticker sauce is the perfect complement to dumplings or potstickers with a balance of salty, sweet, and tangy flavors. It’s easy to make and adds incredible taste to your meals.


Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon honey or sugar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon chili paste or red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or sugar), and sesame oil.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the mixture, stirring well to combine.
  3. If you want a bit of heat, add chili paste or red pepper flakes to your liking.
  4. Mix everything together until well combined. You can also refrigerate the sauce for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Optional: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving for a little extra crunch.

Notes

  1. Sweet and Spicy: Add a few extra teaspoons of chili paste for a spicier kick. You can also experiment with adding a bit of sriracha sauce.
