Description

This Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate is creamy, cozy, and packed with warm fall flavors. Made with real pumpkin puree and melted chocolate, it’s the perfect comforting drink for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 ounces (1/2 cup) semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Marshmallows or whipped cream, for serving
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and brown sugar to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, whisking occasionally until well combined and steaming.
  2. Once hot but not simmering, add the chocolate chips and whisk continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  4. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
  • Do not let the milk boil to avoid scorching.
  • You can substitute dairy-free milk for a lighter version.
  • Serve immediately while warm and creamy.
