This homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte combines real pumpkin, warm spices, and espresso or coffee for a cozy and flavorful fall-inspired drink. It’s creamy, comforting, and easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1 to 3 tablespoons sugar, to taste
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
- 1/2 cup strong hot coffee or 1 to 2 shots of espresso
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar.
- Heat until hot but not boiling, then remove from heat.
- Whisk in vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice.
- Use a blender, immersion blender, or whisk to froth the milk mixture until foamy.
- Pour coffee or espresso into a large mug, then add the frothed pumpkin milk mixture.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, if desired. Serve immediately.

- Adjust sugar to your sweetness preference.
- Use almond, oat, or soy milk for a dairy-free version.
