Description

These Reese’s Pieces Cookie Bars are thick, chewy, and loaded with peanut butter flavor. Made in one bowl with simple ingredients, they’re perfect for peanut butter lovers and easy to make for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add brown sugar and mix until well combined.
  4. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in salt, baking powder, and flour until just combined.
  6. Fold in Reese’s Pieces and chocolate chips if using.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep the bars soft and chewy.
  • Can substitute Reese’s Pieces with M&Ms or other candy-coated chocolates.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
