A refreshing and fruity homemade peach lemonade made with real peaches, fresh lemon juice, and just the right amount of sweetness—perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 3 peaches, peeled and chopped
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
- 5 cups water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring peaches, sugar, and 2 cups of the water to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and peaches are softened.
- Use an immersion blender or regular blender to puree the peach mixture until smooth.
- Pour the puree through a strainer, pressing to extract all the juice. Discard solids.
- Allow the strained peach mixture to cool completely.
- Once cooled, combine the peach mixture with the remaining 3 cups of water and lemon juice in a pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator and serve over ice.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
- For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water before serving.
- Garnish with mint leaves or peach slices for extra flair.
