Description

A refreshing and fruity homemade peach lemonade made with real peaches, fresh lemon juice, and just the right amount of sweetness—perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 3 peaches, peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
  • 5 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring peaches, sugar, and 2 cups of the water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and peaches are softened.
  3. Use an immersion blender or regular blender to puree the peach mixture until smooth.
  4. Pour the puree through a strainer, pressing to extract all the juice. Discard solids.
  5. Allow the strained peach mixture to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, combine the peach mixture with the remaining 3 cups of water and lemon juice in a pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator and serve over ice.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
  • For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water before serving.
  • Garnish with mint leaves or peach slices for extra flair.
