Description

These Rice Crispy Peanut Butter Balls are crunchy, sweet, and packed with rich peanut butter flavor. This easy no-bake treat comes together quickly and makes a perfect snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter (chunky preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the corn syrup and powdered sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, mixing until all the cereal is evenly coated with the peanut butter mixture.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly until it is comfortable to handle.
  5. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper or a silicone mat.
  6. Let the peanut butter balls cool completely at room temperature until firm, then transfer them to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

  • If the mixture becomes too sticky to handle, lightly grease your hands with a small amount of butter or oil.
  • Store the peanut butter balls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • For extra flavor, drizzle melted chocolate over the finished balls.
  • These treats can also be refrigerated to help them set faster.
