Description

A creamy, rich roasted garlic aioli sauce made with roasted garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard – perfect as a dip, spread, or sauce for sandwiches and grilled dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the garlic head to expose the cloves.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft and golden.
  4. Let the garlic cool, then squeeze the cloves out into a bowl.
  5. Mash the garlic until smooth.
  6. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  7. Stir until well combined and smooth.
  8. Chill before serving for best flavor.
