Ingredients
- 1 can condensed French onion soup, divided
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs

- 1 egg

- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup water
- 1½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef with ⅓ cup of the French onion soup, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 6 oval patties.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides until nicely seared.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining French onion soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, flour, mustard powder, garlic powder, and water.
- Pour the gravy mixture over the patties and add the sliced mushrooms on top.
- Cover the skillet and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the patties are cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or vegetables.
