Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 (30 oz) package frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese to the sausage. Stir until melted and combined. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, and the sausage-cream cheese mixture. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the hash brown mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
