Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds mushrooms (white button or cremini), cleaned and trimmed
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms and cook without stirring for 3–4 minutes to allow them to brown.
- Stir and continue cooking for another 5–7 minutes until mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, stir well and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
