These sautéed garlic butter mushrooms are an easy and flavorful side dish, perfect for pairing with steaks, chicken, or pasta. Cooked in a rich butter and garlic sauce with herbs, they are tender, juicy, and ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds mushrooms (white button or cremini), cleaned and trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook without stirring for 3–4 minutes to allow them to brown.
  3. Stir and continue cooking for another 5–7 minutes until mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, stir well and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
