Description

A simple and quick recipe for making soft and fluffy Greek Yogurt Naan using just 2 ingredients. Perfect as a side for curries, wraps, or enjoying with dips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour (plus more for dusting)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt.
  2. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. Use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into a round or oval naan shape.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each naan for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings or dips.

Notes

  • If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can make your own by combining 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • Brush cooked naan with melted butter or garlic butter for extra flavor.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a day or two.
