Description

These Skillet Cajun Chicken Bites are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection in a cast iron skillet. They’re quick to make, packed with Cajun spices, and perfect as a main dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
  5. Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes on one side without moving it to get a good sear.
  6. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4–5 minutes until fully cooked and browned.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Make sure the skillet is hot before adding chicken to get a good sear.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan – cook in batches if necessary.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste if you prefer more or less heat.
  • These bites pair well with rice, veggies, or dipping sauces.
