Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees ℉.
- Cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add sloppy joe sauce and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Slice French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the cut sides of the bread.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over the bread halves.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
