Description

A creamy and comforting slow cooker chicken Alfredo made with tender chicken breasts, rich Alfredo sauce, and fettuccine noodles. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar (15 ounces) Alfredo sauce
  • 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package (16 ounces) fettuccine
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, optional

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a 5-quart slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, and pepper; pour over chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. Remove chicken and shred with two forks; return to slow cooker.
  5. Cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain and add to slow cooker.
  6. Stir to combine and heat through.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired before serving.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
  • Whole wheat pasta can be used for added fiber.
