Description

This Slow Cooker Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate is a rich, creamy, and indulgent drink made easily in the slow cooker. Perfect for cold days or festive gatherings, it’s a crowd-pleasing treat with a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (plus more for garnish)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, caramel sauce, and sea salt to the slow cooker.
  2. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure the chocolate melts evenly and doesn’t stick to the bottom.
  4. Once fully heated and creamy, ladle into mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream, drizzle with caramel sauce, and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt if desired.

Notes

  • You can use milk chocolate chips for a sweeter version.
