Ingredients
- 2 pounds round steak, tenderized and cut into portions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the steak in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add diced onion and green bell pepper over the steak.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or until the steak is tender.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
- This dish goes great with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
- For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Make sure to use tenderized round steak for best results.
