Description

Smoked Paprika Roasted Sweet Potatoes are an easy, flavorful, and healthy side dish, perfectly seasoned with smoky spices and roasted to crispy perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the cubed sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the sweet potatoes and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the sweet potatoes out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 30–40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
  7. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Notes

  • Try to cut the sweet potatoes into uniform pieces for even roasting.
  • You can add other spices like cumin or chili powder for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
