Description

A luscious cobbler that combines the warm spices of snickerdoodles with the sweetness of apple pie, topped with a drizzle of caramel. Perfect for a cozy fall dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 3 tbsp caramel topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix, butter, and egg until well mixed.
  3. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  4. Distribute half of the cookie dough in small spoonfuls across the bottom of the pan.
  5. Evenly sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar packet over the dough.
  6. Spread the apple pie filling over this layer.
  7. Drop the remaining cookie dough in spoonfuls over the apple pie filling.
  8. Sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Drizzle caramel topping over everything.
  10. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  11. Serve warm or allow to cool slightly. Top with additional caramel if desired.

Notes

  • For extra texture, add chopped pecans or walnuts to the filling.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for a more indulgent dessert.
  • You can use homemade apple pie filling if preferred.
