Description
These no-bake Snickers Balls are a rich and satisfying treat made with dates, peanuts, and chocolate. They are naturally sweet, chewy, and perfect for a quick dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Medjool Dates (about 12–14 pitted medjool dates)
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Roasted Salted Peanuts
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
Instructions
- Line a plate with lightly oiled parchment paper and set aside.
- Place the Medjool dates in a bowl and cover with boiled water. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Drain the dates and gently press to remove excess water. Transfer to a food processor.
- Add oats, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and roasted peanuts.
- Blend until a sticky dough forms, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Lightly oil your hands with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Place on the prepared plate.
- Form approximately 11 balls and refrigerate while preparing the chocolate.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with olive oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, let excess drip off, and return to the lined plate.
Notes
- Use soft Medjool dates for best texture; soak longer if they are dry.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
- You can substitute almond butter for peanut butter if desired.
- Allow chocolate to fully set before serving for best results.
