These fun and delicious Spaghetti Tacos with Ground Beef are a creative twist on two family favorites — spaghetti and tacos — combined into one kid-approved meal that’s perfect for dinner or parties.
Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 hard taco shells
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in marinara sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the meat sauce and toss to combine.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange taco shells on a baking sheet.
- Fill each taco shell with spaghetti and beef mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use your favorite marinara or pasta sauce for added flavor.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- For extra crunch, bake taco shells for a few minutes before filling.
- These tacos are best served fresh to keep the shells crispy.
