Ingredients

2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  • Peel and slice the potatoes into thin strips, resembling noodles. You can use a mandoline slicer or cut them by hand.

  • Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the potato strips and sauté them for 8–10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  • Add the red chili powder, cumin powder, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the potatoes. Stir to coat the potato noodles evenly.

  • Continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes to allow the spices to meld and the potatoes to become even crispier.

  • Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.

  1. You can increase the spice by adding more chili powder or fresh chopped chilies.
