Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak on both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated.
- Top with sliced steak and garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

- Let the steak rest before slicing to retain its juices.
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce texture.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.
