Description

Strawberry Brownies are a delicious and unique twist on traditional brownies, combining the rich, fudgy texture of chocolate with the sweet, refreshing flavor of strawberries. They are moist, flavorful, and have a gorgeous pink hue.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup cocoa powder

½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

Notes

  1. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 1 week.
  2. These brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place them in a freezer-safe bag.
  3. For a different flavor profile, use white chocolate chips instead of regular chocolate chips.
  4. To make gluten-free brownies, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
  5. For a fudgier texture, slightly underbake the brownies and use more butter in the recipe.
