Ingredients
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
 - In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
 - Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
 - Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips (if using).
 - Drop rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown and the centers are set.
 - Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

- This recipe makes about 24 cookies.
 - You can add chocolate chips, dried strawberries, or nuts like walnuts or pecans for variation.
 - To store, keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week.
