Description

A refreshing and sweet strawberry latte made with fresh strawberries, milk, and optional espresso or tea. Perfect for summer and easy to prepare at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso or black tea (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, sugar, and water.
  2. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the strawberries break down and form a syrup.
  3. Use a blender or immersion blender to puree the mixture until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if desired for a smoother texture.
  4. Let the strawberry syrup cool to room temperature or chill in the refrigerator.
  5. To assemble the latte, fill a glass with ice.
  6. Add 2–4 tablespoons of strawberry syrup, depending on your sweetness preference.
  7. Pour in milk.
  8. Add espresso or tea if using. Stir to combine and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Adjust sweetness by using more or less strawberry syrup.
  • For a smoother latte, strain the syrup before adding to the drink.
  • The strawberry syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
