Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (or homemade)
- Yellow frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
- Orange Starburst candies (for beaks and feet)
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to the sugar cookie dough package instructions (typically 350°F / 175°C).
- Slice or roll the sugar cookie dough into rounds and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the cookies as directed, usually 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- Frost each cookie with yellow frosting to fully cover the top.
- Place two mini chocolate chips on each cookie for eyes.
- Cut small triangles from orange Starburst candies to make beaks, and press one onto each cookie.
- Optional: Cut small pieces from the Starburst to create feet and press at the bottom of each cookie.
