Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches, drained

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Pour melted butter into an 8×8 baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk until combined.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the dish (do not stir).
  5. Arrange the drained peaches evenly on top of the batter.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and set.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg over the peaches before baking.
  • Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
