Ingredients
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches, drained
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Pour melted butter into an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk until combined.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter in the dish (do not stir).
- Arrange the drained peaches evenly on top of the batter.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and set.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg over the peaches before baking.
- Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Do not stir the batter after pouring it over the butter for best results.
