Description

Soft, melt-in-your-mouth cookies with a hint of vanilla, coated in powdered sugar. Perfect for holidays or anytime you crave a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
  6. While still warm, roll each cookie in powdered sugar until fully coated. Cool completely, then roll in powdered sugar a second time for a snowy effect.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a stronger vanilla flavor, use vanilla bean paste instead of extract.
  • You can freeze the dough balls and bake directly from frozen; just add 1–2 minutes to baking time.
