Description

A simple and flavorful Swiss chard dish sautéed with garlic, leeks, almonds, and sweet raisins. This quick recipe offers a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch Swiss chard
  • 1 leek
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 25 g almonds
  • 25 g raisins
  • 15 ml olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Remove the stems from the Swiss chard and cut the leaves into strips.
  2. Finely chop the garlic, slice the leek, and chop the almonds.
  3. Heat a little olive oil in a large shallow pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and leek, cooking until soft.
  4. Add the Swiss chard and sauté, stirring regularly, until it wilts.
  5. Add the chopped almonds and raisins along with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.
  6. Serve immediately, or cover and keep warm in the oven until ready to serve.
