Description

A refreshing twist on the classic mojito, the Tangerine Mojito combines the bright citrus flavor of tangerines with the coolness of mint and the kick of white rum for a vibrant, zesty cocktail.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 tangerine, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • Ice cubes
  • Club soda, to top
  • Mint sprig and tangerine slice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the tangerine and lime wedges into a glass.
  2. Add the sugar and mint leaves.
  3. Muddle the ingredients together to release the juices and mint oils.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour in the white rum.
  6. Top with club soda and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a tangerine slice.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed tangerine juice for a stronger citrus flavor if preferred.
  • Adjust sugar to taste depending on sweetness of tangerine.
