Description
A festive and refreshing autumn-inspired cider punch made with a mix of apple cider, pomegranate juice, orange juice, and spiced rum. Perfect for holiday gatherings and fall celebrations.
Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1–2 cups spiced rum (to taste)
- 1/2 cup ginger beer
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1–2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
- Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the apple cider, pomegranate juice, orange juice, and spiced rum.
- Add the maple syrup, if using, and stir well to combine.
- Mix in the cinnamon sticks, apple slices, orange slices, and pomegranate arils.
- Refrigerate the punch for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, stir in the ginger beer for fizz.
- Serve in glasses over ice and garnish with rosemary sprigs.
Notes
- Adjust the rum to taste based on your preference for stronger or lighter punch.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add extra ginger beer or sparkling apple cider.
- Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge (without ginger beer).
