 - 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
 - Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
 - Stir in the chocolate chips.
 - Scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet using a cookie scoop or tablespoon.
 - Bake for 9–11 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden but the centers look soft and underbaked.
 - Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5–10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
- For extra gooey cookies, slightly underbake them.
 - You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking for enhanced flavor.
 - Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for several days or frozen for longer storage.
