Description

A crispy, gluten-free quinoa pizza crust made with soaked quinoa, blended into a smooth batter and baked to perfection. This healthy and protein-rich alternative is perfect for your favorite pizza toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa (rinsed and soaked)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse quinoa thoroughly and soak in water for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the soaked quinoa well.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease with olive oil.
  4. Add soaked quinoa, water, baking powder, salt, olive oil, and Italian seasoning to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
  5. Pour batter onto prepared pan and spread evenly into a 10-12 inch circle.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then carefully flip the crust and bake another 10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Add desired toppings and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until toppings are cooked and cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
