Description

This Viral Cherry Vanilla Latte is a trendy coffee drink that blends bold espresso with sweet cherries and smooth vanilla for a creamy, fruity twist. Beautifully layered and easy to make, it’s perfect as a cozy morning pick-me-up or a refreshing afternoon treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 shot (1 oz) espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative (almond, oat, soy, or coconut)
  • 12 teaspoons sugar or honey, to taste
  • Ice cubes (optional, for iced version)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
  • Extra cherries or a pinch of cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew one shot of espresso or prepare 1/2 cup strong coffee using your preferred method.
  2. In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and vanilla extract. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until steaming but not boiling. Froth if desired. (Skip heating if making an iced version.)
  4. Pour the brewed espresso into a mug or glass.
  5. Add the blended cherry-vanilla mixture and stir gently to combine.
  6. Slowly pour the warm milk over the espresso mixture. For an iced latte, fill a glass with ice, add espresso and cherry blend, then pour in cold milk.
  7. Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste and stir well.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream, extra cherries, or a light dusting of cinnamon if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen cherries can be used; thaw slightly before blending.
  • Adjust sweetness according to your preference or use maple syrup or coconut sugar as alternatives.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat gently without boiling.
  • For a kid-friendly version, omit the espresso and serve as a cherry-vanilla milk drink.
