These White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies are soft, chewy dessert bars filled with sweet white chocolate chips and tart dried cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings or any time you want a festive treat.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1–1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1–1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1–1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup white baking chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9-in. baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in white baking chips, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
Notes
- These blondies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- To make them more festive, drizzle with melted white chocolate once cooled.
- Substitute walnuts with pecans or omit for a nut-free version.
