Description

These fluffy baked donuts are filled with a luscious strawberry cream and finished with a drizzle of smooth white chocolate. A sweet and indulgent treat perfect for celebrations or a special breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • Pink food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut pan about halfway with batter.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow donuts to cool completely.
  7. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the strawberry jam and chopped strawberries.
  8. Slice each cooled donut horizontally and fill with the strawberry cream mixture.
  9. If desired, stir a few drops of pink food coloring into the melted white chocolate. Drizzle the white chocolate over each filled donut.
  10. Allow the chocolate to set for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • You can substitute raspberry jam for a different berry flavor.
  • Ensure donuts are fully cooled before filling to prevent the cream from melting.
  • For extra texture, sprinkle additional chopped strawberries on top before the chocolate sets.
