Description
These fluffy baked donuts are filled with a luscious strawberry cream and finished with a drizzle of smooth white chocolate. A sweet and indulgent treat perfect for celebrations or a special breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
- Pink food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan about halfway with batter.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow donuts to cool completely.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the strawberry jam and chopped strawberries.
- Slice each cooled donut horizontally and fill with the strawberry cream mixture.
- If desired, stir a few drops of pink food coloring into the melted white chocolate. Drizzle the white chocolate over each filled donut.
- Allow the chocolate to set for a few minutes before serving.
