Description

These classic 7 Layer Bars are rich, chewy dessert squares layered with chocolate, butterscotch, coconut, and crunchy pecans over a buttery graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with baker’s spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust.
  3. Evenly sprinkle coconut, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and chopped pecans over the crust.
  4. Slowly drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire pan.
  5. Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
  6. Allow bars to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Line the pan with parchment for easier removal and cleaner cuts.
  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
  • Refrigerate for firmer texture and longer storage.
  • You can substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
