Description
These classic 7 Layer Bars are rich, chewy dessert squares layered with chocolate, butterscotch, coconut, and crunchy pecans over a buttery graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup salted butter, melted
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with baker’s spray or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust.
- Evenly sprinkle coconut, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and chopped pecans over the crust.
- Slowly drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire pan.
- Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
- Allow bars to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Line the pan with parchment for easier removal and cleaner cuts.
- Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Refrigerate for firmer texture and longer storage.
- You can substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
