Description
This Air Fryer Pizza Garlic Bread is crispy, cheesy, and loaded with savory mushroom pizza topping. A quick and flavorful snack or appetizer made easily in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or any neutral cooking oil
- 2–3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ¾ cup thinly sliced mushrooms
- ½ teaspoon all purpose flour / maida
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ½ loaf french bread
- ¼ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons black olives, sliced
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the garlic for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add all purpose flour and sauté continuously for 1 minute until the raw smell disappears. Do not overcook.
- Pour in the milk and whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
- Slice the french bread vertically into two halves. Spread the prepared filling evenly over both halves.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and sliced black olives.
- Place the bread halves in the air fryer with the topping side facing up and air fry at 190°C for 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread becomes crisp.
- Slice into serving portions and serve warm.

- Cooking times may vary depending on the air fryer model, so monitor closely to avoid burning.
- You can substitute mushrooms with bell peppers, onions, or corn for variation.
- Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
