Ingredients
- 1 shot espresso
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine mixed berries and sugar. Cook until berries break down and form a syrup, about 5–7 minutes. Strain if desired and let cool.
- In a bowl, whip heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold in a few tablespoons of the cooled berry syrup to create berry chantilly cream.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in the milk.
- Add the espresso shot over the milk.
- Top with the berry chantilly cream.
- Drizzle additional berry syrup on top if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen berries if fresh are not available.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your berries.
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and plant-based milk.
- Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
