Ingredients
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powdered cheese (cheddar cheese powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add a few popcorn kernels and cover.
- Once the test kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels and cover with a lid.
- Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning and cook until popping slows.
- Remove from heat and transfer popcorn to a large bowl.
- Drizzle melted butter over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese powder and salt over the popcorn and toss again until fully coated.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- Use freshly grated hard cheese blended into a powder if pre-made cheese powder is unavailable.
- Adjust salt and cheese levels to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika.
