Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into evenly sized nugget pieces and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In one bowl, add the flour. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly in the seasoned breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer the cooked nuggets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
