Description

Ingredients

  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 400 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  6. Shape the dough into small cookies or desired shapes and place them on the prepared trays.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden and crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
