Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch chips.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
