Ingredients
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Add tomato paste, water, apple cider vinegar, and honey to a saucepan and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and cinnamon.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and flavors are combined.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate before serving.
