Description

This easy peach lemonade is sweet, refreshing, and bursting with fresh summer flavor. Made with juicy peaches and tart lemons, it is the perfect chilled drink for warm days and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 45 peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 5 lemons, juiced
  • 4 cups cold water, or to taste
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Peach slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the sliced peaches, 2 cups of water, and 1/2 cup sugar to a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Boil for 5-6 minutes, then mash the peaches with a potato masher for about 1 minute.
  3. While the peaches cook, juice the lemons.
  4. Place a sieve over a bowl and carefully pour the peach mixture through in batches, pressing with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the remaining pulp.
  5. In a large pitcher, combine the peach syrup, fresh lemon juice, remaining sugar, cold water, and ice. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or water as desired. Serve cold with lemon slices, peach slices, and mint leaves for garnish.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the sweetest flavor.
  • Adjust the sugar depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
  • Store leftover lemonade refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • For a sparkling version, replace some of the cold water with sparkling water.
