Description

Flaky, buttery croissants filled with a savory mixture, made without added sugar for a lighter, satisfying snack or breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 6 croissants
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 100 g turkey slices
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  3. Fill each croissant with turkey slices, tomato, and grated cheese.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place the stuffed croissants in a baking dish and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and set.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey with ham or omit for a vegetarian version.
  • Use lactose-free milk and cheese if needed.
