Ingredients
- 6 croissants
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml milk
- 100 g grated cheese
- 100 g turkey slices
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
- Fill each croissant with turkey slices, tomato, and grated cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Place the stuffed croissants in a baking dish and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey with ham or omit for a vegetarian version.
- Use lactose-free milk and cheese if needed.
- Best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
