Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and egg until a dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into a tart pan, forming the crust.
- Bake the crust for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden, then cool.
- In a saucepan, whisk together eggs, lime juice, zest, and sugar.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and whisk in butter until smooth.
- Pour the lime curd into the cooled crust.
- Chill the tart for at least 2 hours until set.
- Slice and serve chilled.
