Description

A quick and flavorful side dish of crisp-tender green beans tossed in a buttery garlic lemon sauce with toasted almonds. Perfect for a simple yet elegant addition to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Green beans (trimmed)
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup Almonds (sliced)
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper. Saute for 4-5 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Remove to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add the butter to the pan. Once melted, add the sliced almonds and cook for 2-4 minutes until golden.
  3. Add the minced garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice.
  4. Return the green beans to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic lemon butter. Cook for 1-2 more minutes until heated through.
