Description
A quick and flavorful side dish of crisp-tender green beans tossed in a buttery garlic lemon sauce with toasted almonds. Perfect for a simple yet elegant addition to any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 lb Green beans (trimmed)
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/3 cup Almonds (sliced)
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper. Saute for 4-5 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Remove to a plate and cover to keep warm.
- Reduce heat to low and add the butter to the pan. Once melted, add the sliced almonds and cook for 2-4 minutes until golden.
- Add the minced garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice.
- Return the green beans to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic lemon butter. Cook for 1-2 more minutes until heated through.

- Use fresh green beans for the best texture and flavor.
- Substitute almonds with walnuts or pecans if desired.
- Serve immediately for optimal crispness.
