Description
A vibrant green margarita made with fresh citrus, herbs, and tequila for a refreshing and zesty cocktail. Perfect for warm days or festive gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- 1/2 oz agave syrup
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach or kale
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 small jalapeño, seeded
- 1 cup ice
- Lime wedges and salt for rim (optional)
Instructions
- If desired, rim a glass with lime juice and dip in salt. Set aside.
- Add tequila, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, spinach, cilantro, jalapeño, and ice to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and vibrant green.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or citrus as needed.
- Pour into prepared glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño amount based on desired spice level.
- Use honey instead of agave if preferred.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit tequila and add sparkling water.
- Best enjoyed fresh after blending.
