Description

A smooth and creamy homemade almond butter made with simple ingredients and roasted almonds for enhanced flavor. Perfect for spreading, drizzling, or adding to your favorite recipes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add the almonds to a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes to help release their natural oils.
  3. Transfer the roasted almonds to a food processor and blend on high.
  4. Pause to scrape down the sides as needed. The mixture will go through stages from powdery to clumpy before becoming smooth.
  5. Continue blending for 15–20 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
  6. Add the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt, then blend again until fully incorporated.
  7. Taste and adjust flavors if desired. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Be patient during blending; the almonds will eventually release oils and become creamy.
  • For extra flavor, try adding a touch of honey or maple syrup.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 weeks.
  • Stir before use if natural oil separation occurs.
